Friday
Tour campus with other prospective students, learn more about admissions and financial aid, meet an NSU professor, and get to know student life.
Saturday
Visit on Saturday (during select fall and spring dates) for a group campus tour and a meeting with an admissions counselor.
Northern Bound
Experience an exclusive day at NSU as a prospective student. Get to know your future Wolf Pack, meet your professors and talk with financial aid and admissions counselors. Enjoy a complimentary lunch and free tickets to on-campus events.
Virtual Visit
Can't make it in person? Talk with an admissions counselor via Zoom for a 30-minute meeting. You can also meet with a professor in your area of academic interest (if schedules permit).
Special Group Visit
Do you have a large group that would like to tour the campus? This could be a class, program, business, alumni group, team, or any other group with more than five individuals. Take advantage of a customized tour for your group!

Northern State University is located in the town of Aberdeen in northeastern South Dakota at 1200 S. Jay St., Aberdeen, S.D. 57401. the campus is near the junction of U.S. highways 12 and 281.
- From Highway 281 South
Turn east onto Melgaard Road. Turn north onto Lincoln Street. Turn east onto 12th Avenue SE. Turn into parking lot north of the intersection of 12th Avenue SE and S Washington Street. The Admissions Office is in the Student Center located on the east side of the parking lot before the intersection of 14th Avenue SE and S Washington Street. Guest parking is available in the lot.
- From Highway 281 North
Turn east onto 6th Avenue SE (or Highway 12). Turn south onto Main Street. Turn east onto 12th Avenue SE. . Turn into parking lot north of the intersection of 12th Avenue SE and S Washington Street. The Admissions Office is in the Student Center located on the east side of the parking lot before the intersection of 14th Avenue SE and S Washington Street. Guest parking is available in the lot.

Turn south onto State Street. Turn west onto 12th Avenue SE. Turn into parking lot north of the intersection of 12th Avenue SE and S Washington Street.
