International Programs

A world of opportunities.
There has never been a better, or more important, time for students to take advantage of global learning opportunities. NSU’s Office of International Programs (OIP) is leading the way in guiding students on their journey into this new and exciting world.

We provide the support and infrastructure necessary to take advantage of international opportunities both in our community and abroad. These initiatives include study abroad, grant and research opportunities, international cooperative agreements and co-curricular programming.

We seek to promote international awareness, sensitivity to diversity and opportunities to engage the community and campus in cultural activities. Northern hosts an increasing number of international students coming from all over the world and we assist these students with all aspects of Northern life, including:

  • Academic and personal success
  • Acculturation
