ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University signed a teach-out agreement with Presentation College today to help students complete their degrees at Northern.
Northern has been working toward an academic agreement with PC for quite some time, prior to Presentation’s recent announcement. Now, Northern has received approval from the Higher Learning Commission to move forward with the agreement.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University’s Dr. Nuurrianti Jalli has published a policy paper with the world-renowned public policy organization, the Brookings Institution.
The paper, titled “Disinformation and Democracy in Malaysia,” was part of the Foreign Policy Democracy in Asia project, a collaborative effort by Jalli and fellow policy experts from around the world.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University has named NSU alum and longtime regional educator Eric Kline as the Director of the Northern Academy.
As director, Kline will support and mentor high school students enrolled in Northern Academy, a new, on-campus academy for area students taking dual-credit courses.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The South Dakota Jazz Festival Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, in the Northern State University Johnson Fine Arts Center.

ABERDEEN, S.D. – For Itzel “Izzy” Sanchez, a first-time mom and full-time student at Northern State University, scholarships are a big help—including the South Dakota Freedom Scholarship.
