Navigate is a student-centered mobile app that provides personalized information to help keep you on the path toward academic success and timely graduation at Northern.

Navigate helps reduce the noise so you'll get connected to the right resources at the right time. The app helps you choose the right major, better understand requirements, make appointments with advisors and tutors, and stay on top of important dates and deadlines.

 

Get Started

Find the Navigate app

Go to Google Play or the App Store  and search "Navigate," then download.

Search 'Northern State University'

Once you've installed the app, search for "Northern State University."

Enter your credentials

  Enter your NSU username and password.

You can download Navigate in the App Store or Google Play. For the desktop version, log in to MyNSU and select "Navigate" under "NSU Links."

It’s free! It costs nothing for you to download Navigate or use the desktop version.

Select Settings--Notification Settings to personalize your settings.

Holds are updated every 24 hours in Navigate, so check tomorrow to see if it’s successfully been resolved in Navigate. If the issue persists, contact the NSU Navigate team at nsunavigate@northern.edu or 605-626-2633.

Try a hard close and relaunch the app. On iOS, double click the Home button then swipe the app preview away to “hard close.” On Android, open the app manager view and slide the app preview away to “hard close.”
